I want to tell you, I had been putting off my first blog post for a while; mainly because I didn’t know what to write about. Type, delete. Type, delete. That’s how much luck I was having, despite my best efforts. Then it hit me, I have a boat load of people to thank, and that’s exactly (duh) what I should be writing about in my first post.
First and foremost, I need to say how AWESOME it was to put this site together. Mainly this is due to the lovely gal I had the opportunity to work with. Though miles and miles apart (she is located in the sunny state of Florida) somehow I feel like she’s my dear friend. She went above and beyond my every expectation, focusing on every little detail to make things just perfect. Let me tell you, I’m not the easiest person to work with as I change my mind often and tend to be a little obsessive and detail oriented, but she honestly made putting this site together a fun and seamless experience. Melissa, you are truly a gem and you have such a gift. I can’t thank you enough for your kindness, patience, creativity and willingness to help a small shop out with your unbelievable skills. You went above and beyond, and my sister and I thank you from the bottom our hearts.
An enormous thank you also goes out to the sweet sweet gal who helped in creating our new logo. WE. LOVE. IT. You took our vision and made it a reality, and we must say, it is the cutest coffee shop logo we have EVER seen. Thank you Andrea for being SO delightful to work with, not to mention good natured as we changed our minds over and over again in trying to create the perfect representation for our business. Your hard work and talents are now displayed on cups holding yummy lattés and mochas, and my sister and I couldn’t be more thrilled.
To my dear friends Shelby and Lynsey. Thank you for believing in me and inspiring my sister and I to create this site. If it weren’t for you, we would probably still be at square one. Funny how sometimes all a person needs is a little encouragement and thoughtful advice. You’ve given us the support and guidance needed to create this dream of ours. Thank you for being great friends and such wonderful supporters and advocates of our business.
Finally, thank you to all of the people who to continue to support, and aide in the operations of Lynmarie’s Coffee. We have some pretty amazing suppliers, not to mention an awesome staff of baristas whom we would be lost without.
A shout out to my Mom; thank you for willingly taking the kids a few days a week so I can spend time working and carrying out important tasks for the business. You’re amazing and SO appreciated.
A shout out to my husband Tyler; I don’t know where to begin! You make all of this possible by allowing me to live my dream, no matter how hard it is some days on our everyday life. Love you!
Ok I’m finished; sorry for all of the thank you carrying on! I just wouldn’t feel right posting about anything until I properly thanked all of the people who helped make this possible.
xoxo to you all, I can’t wait to start and share in this new venture with you.
